Now after those two crash dumps when the PC blackscreens It just goes out. Of course I then decided to do some testing to see If it was the memory Modules, I ran a couple rounds of IntelBurnTest v2.54 by AgentGOD to see relatively quickly if something with my memory was unstable, Ryzen chewed through the tests Soooo much faster than the 8350 Its replaced but all results came up perfect. This was probably caused by the following module: ntkrnlmp.exe (nt!KeBugCheckEx+0x0)
Msi b350 tomahawk cpu led driver#
Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time. The crash took place in the Windows kernel.

More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules. This might be a case of memory corruption.

Product: Microsoft? Windows? Operating SystemĬompany: Microsoft Corporationīug check description: This indicates that the kernel has detected critical kernel code or data corruption. This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x14A510)īugcheck code: 0x109 (0xA39FEE5CA8BF1507, 0xB3B6FAE2FB3E9C9D, 0圆, 0x18)Įrror: CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION I ended up with two crashlogs for that First day Saturday the 11thĬrash dump file: C:WindowsMinidump 31117-5781-01.dmp When I first got thing going and was busy updating windows, Installing my software, drivers etc. So back to the bigger issue, the Blackscreen problems. I also noticed that people are saying the same thing is happening on the Titanium board as well.

Thanks for all the relies everyone, I think we can put the little GPU LED to rest for now, I was concerned if maybe the blackscreen crashes and that indicator were somehow related to each other but as of now I'm guessing they are not. And none of the info I have read on the beta's floating around dealt with any of my issues specifically. I don't mess around with Beta bios unless it was something that could only be solved by using one. You haven't flashed your bios with any of the Beta versions have you? Have you tried with another graphics card? Before any RMA I'd run through those first.ĭo you mean the computer crashing to black screen is graphics related ? I have my Old 7078 HAWK around but when It crashes and gives me the CPU debug LED. It sounds graphics related, but with this being so new, anything we USED to think was 100% could very well not be. Once it crashed launching a web browser, once when I started Illustrator, with MSI command center, and a couple times with Afterburner when changing some settings. ( But changing any GPU settings with Wattman in Radeon settings has never caused a crash ) It only crashes sometimes when I start a program up. Yes, the computer runs fine, all my programs are installed, Even found a couple hours the other night to play a couple games and they ran perfectly fine. Second I'd make sure all power plugs are plugged in. I am 100% certain that everything was perfect when I put it together ( This is the 8th computer I have built ) and I am very particular with my attention to detail Have you taken it all apart and checked to ensure there are no damages to the cpu, maybe debris in the socket?
Msi b350 tomahawk cpu led manual#
I attached a picture from the manual that comes with the motherboard. The only LEDs that should be on on the Mobo during use are what appears to be the CPU power LED just above the CPU and the red LEDs that accent the board. I of course have a GPU installed so is this an error in the motherboard not detecting my installed GPU ? This is the text from the manual word for word ( typos included ) and I wanted a clearer explanation of what this means exactly.īecause I'm not using and APU will this indicator always be on ?
Msi b350 tomahawk cpu led install#
This LED indicates the CPU's iGPU is not defected and needs to install a graphic card On a side note, there is an indicator LED right near the CPU that is always lit, according to the manual it is this : Kingston Hyper X RAM ( HX430C15PB3K ) 1463.7 I want to know if this is possibly a false indicator because of another problem or should I consider doing and RMA on my CPU. Same result, Black screen followed by keyboard going out, and the debug LED is lit. It happens with certain programs as well, for example using MSI Afterburner it crashes quite often when making any changes using this software. In the manual it says this indicates CPU not detected or fail. It happens intermittently but when launching software,( for example I have a web browser open and then launch Adobe Illustrator ) the screen flickers then goes black, then a few seconds later the keyboard goes off ( I have a backlit keyboard ) the PC is still running but the Debug led for the CPU is lit. After a couple days of getting my new system up and running, I seem to be having a re-occurring problem that I wanted to ask about.
